(Aliens) Many humans when they see Yzzin in pictures often draw the conclusion that they are marsupials because they bear some resemblance to Australian marsupials.
While very few humans have visited their homeward because of the extreme gravity, enough records were exchanged between the Stotatl Empire and the Terrans during peace time to show that the Yzzin a mammals that give birth to live young, often in large litters.
It appears the Yzzin sffer from a high infant mortality rate due to the extreme gravity. Those infants that survive the first 3 months and can achieve safe asking without significant bone and tendon damage tend to have a good chance at growing to adulthood. Only about 2 in every 12 born survive to adulthood.
Once a infant Yzzin can walk, adults tend to bound with their young, whereas they typically don't prior to this stage, often giving a mother a break after carrying the litter for the 4 month pregnancy period.
