KapCon 1995 held at the Musem hotel in Wellington was the first convention we attended with the FSpace branded product.
At that point we weren't commercial, but considering it's viability. Our presence was a bit of a disaster because our trusty Atari Falcon 030 had a partition crash taking out the rulebook we were preparing for exhibition at the con. In the end we ran the con off our assembled rulebook drafts.
We had about 6 players, including Stephen Pritchard who later became a developer. Heir to the Throne was run at the con, and it provd to be a scenarion not quite suited to a convention, even with the 6 odd hours we ended up using.
Overall it was quite an experience, and gave us some learning points.
